“Mayflower Avenue” – A Staged Reading with Music
“Mayflower Avenue” is a breakthrough original work in theatrical storytelling. It offers an intimate glimpse into life within a suburban New York enclave on the eve of the 2016 presidential election. Featuring the talents of twelve actors, a collective band and chorus, and new music from an ensemble of songwriters, the play opens the door on four American families, each poised on the edge of personal and national change, as they search for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This presentation will offer audience members an insider’s view of the creative process, and the opportunity to participate in a post-reading Q&A with the writers and director, Kevin R. Free. The play has adult content not suitable for children under the age of 14 due to adult situations and profanity. Free. You can register for this free event here.
