Sunday, March 21 2021, 2 – 4 pm via Zoom

Cost: $25 MAG members / $35 Non-members

Mamaroneck Artists Guild presents Art Critique Sessions as part of its 2020-2021 Jump Start Your Art professional development series for emerging and established artists.

Artists need a professional-quality artwork portfolio to apply for exhibitions, juried shows, grants and other opportunities. Organizing a cohesive body of images is essential for curators, jurors, and gallery owners to see and understand your artistic vision. A strong portfolio gives viewers a vivid sense of the work and helps your application stand out from the pack of applicants.

This presentation will address the following key areas:

  • What are curators, jurors and gallery owners looking for in a quality submission
  • How to develop strategies for creating a powerful portfolio for any opportunity
  • How to curate your images to best showcase your work
  • Q&A session to address your questions
