LIVE JAZZ MUSIC at Laura Renee Solo Show Reception
Live Jazz Musician Allan Meyerson will be playing during Laura Renee’s Reception at Reflections, Saturday Septemebr 9th from 3 to 5pm.
Allan Meyerson has been playing & teaching Saxophone, Clarinet & Flute professionally since 1969. Majoring in music at Queens College CUNY he has gone on to study with Lee Konitz & David Liebman both world renowned Jazz Saxophonists.
Allan has played with various show bands, recording sessions, club date bands as well as flute & piccolo with The Battleground Symphony Orchestra and saxophone with the Brookdale Big Band. He has recorded with world renown trumpet player Jon Faddis, Blood Sweat & Tears member Jim Fielder, Verve recording artist “Marky” Markowitz & Grammy winner Pepper Adams, Charles Fambrough, Frank DiBussolo, Tony Marino, Gene Perla and many more.
In 2013 Meyerson published his book “First Steps to Jazz Improvisation” and now teaches workshops to musicians that want to learn how to improvise.
