Benjamin Braddock (Hoffman), adrift after college, finds himself entangled with the assertive Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft)—and then her daughter (Katharine Ross). With its sharp script, iconic soundtrack, and unforgettable visuals, The Graduate became a cultural touchstone for a generation.
