Light in the Shadows: New Watercolors by Ellen Hopkins Fountain

Ellen Hopkins Fountain is back at the gallery with a series of new watercolors. In her paintings, the artist enjoys depicting light and color, particularly at the beginning and end of the day. Her landscapes are filled with rich, luminous color; greens and russets and golds. Or, she may explore the opposite, toward cool, mysterious grays creating a magical sense of space.
