Money, money, money! Do you know what to do with it? This workshop lead by Karen Williams, aka The Dividend Diva, will cover everything from budgeting, college planning, post college planning, retirement and overall financial literacy. This workshop is for those who are still learning how to manage their money as well as those who know how but need a new way to look at their budget.
Many people believe that financial freedom is too difficult to attain and therefore, they don’t even try. Financial freedom is very much attainable—you just need a plan and the right tools to make it happen. Williams’ desire and motivation is that everyone be able to live the financial lifestyle they desire for themselves.
In her own words, Williams says, “I want to give people, who make their money the ordinary way, the tips and tools to become wealthy with whatever they make because it is possible and it can be done.” Her motto is “Ordinary Income, Extraordinary Lifestyle!”
Williams earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Mass Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s Degree from Clark Atlanta University. She received her Certified Financial Planning certification at Rice University in 2012, although she’s been teaching about personal finance since her early adulthood. Her personal passion is teaching financial literacy to communities where the information is needed most.
