Let’s Talk About: Women’s Suffrage
Join Giovanna Fiorino-Iannace, Outreach Librarian at the Harrison Public Library, in a roundtable discussion about the women’s suffrage movement in New York State and beyond, guided by suggested readings. Reflect upon and discuss your experiences with women’s rights issues, and explore the overlooked stories of African-American suffragists.
Let’s Talk About: Women’s Suffrage meets on October 13 and 27 and November 3 and 10. Come to one or all. This program, which is free and open to the public, is made possible through the support of Humanities New York’s Reading and Discussion Program.
