The Seven Virtues and the Seven Sins in Christian Theology
Shannon M. McAlister is an Assistant Professor of Spirituality at Fordham University, holding an M.A. and Ph.D. in Theology from The Catholic University of America. Dr. McAlister’s scholarly research retrieves a variety of female imagery for God from the writings of the prominent clerical theologians of the Medieval Latin West. In her classroom teaching, Dr. McAlister dwells upon the connection between (a) contemporary spiritual concerns, and (b) the diverse history of Christian theology and of Christian understandings of the human person.
