Learning to Paint

Ages: Youth 8 – 11

This class is for those who’ve had experience in drawing and feel they are ready to take it further! We will learn about color theory, how to mix from a basic palette, color values, tones and different ways to apply acrylic paint. We will study form and space, light source, shadows, still-life and work from images. Towards the end of class, students will have the option to explore painting the face, figure or landscape.
