L.A. Theatre Works “Judgment at Nuremberg”
L.A. Theater Works has been the foremost radio theater company in the United States for four decades, on a mission to present, preserve, and disseminate classic and contemporary plays via a unique hybrid of audio theatre and innovative use of technology. Their National Touring Program presents “live-in-performance” radio dramas, featuring world class actors, intricate sound designs, and on-stage effects, creating an intimate and compelling theatre experience.
Commemorating the 75th anniversary of World War II, LATW will bring us one of the greatest courtroom dramas of the last century: Judgment at Nuremberg by Abby Mann. Ten actors portray the unforgettable characters, who are playing out a high stakes game against the backdrop of a looming Cold War, shifting political alliances, and the shocking and vivid memories of the Holocaust and World War II.
The production will be directed by LATW veteran Brian Kite (In the Heat of the Night, The Graduate) and includes recognizable and respected television, theater, and film actors as well as several up and coming young performers.
