June 20: Three Distinct Voices. One Dynamic Conversation.
Conversation 1pm – 2pm
Reception    2pm – 3pm
Â
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an inspiring In Conversation event featuring artist and activist Janet Langsam and New York State Senator Shelley Mayer, with Neuberger Director Tracy Fitzpatrick guiding the discussion.
Enjoy ice-cold lemonade or refreshing sweet tea as these bold voices in art, politics, and public life explore leadership, creativity, and the evolving role of women in shaping our communities—and how art can ignite change in unexpected ways.
Langsam, whose bold and thoughtful works are featured in Improbable Feminist, now on view at the Museum, will reflect on her remarkable journey from practicing artist to influential cultural leader. Mayer will offer perspectives drawn from her deep experience in civic life and community advocacy.
Â
After the discussion, step into the Museum’s courtyard for a festive reception—light bites, cool drinks, and creative company.
Let’s toast to bright summer days, strong voices, and the meaningful impact of art in our community!
