Jonathan Henken, Highland Pipes (outdoor concert)

Join us on Wednesday, September 15 for a wonderful Downtown Music tradition!  Piper Jonathan Henken helps us launch our season of free, noonday concerts with a program of Airs and Dances of Scotland, plus a brief history of the instrument. Jonathan has served as piper for the Forbes Corporation, and has made music for Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.  He is Pipe Major of the Mt. Kisco Scottish Pipes and Drums, one of Westchester County’s most venerable bands, and the official pipe band of the St. Andrews Society of New York State.
