A three-time Grammy nominee, while still short of his 22nd birthday, pianist Joey Alexander continues to live up to the “genius” label bestowed on him by Downbeat magazine when he stole the show as a 10-year-old at Lincoln Center’s black-tie jazz gala.

As Jazzwise said awarding four stars to his 2023 album Continuance, Joey consistently confirms “that his imaginative fluency is about mature emotion and insight as much as keyboard touch.”
