Jerusalem Quartet concert
Debuting on our series will be the dynamic Israeli Jerusalem Quartet, which plays with “passion, precise, and warmth,” says The New York Times. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has commented on the group’s “warm, silken tone, which they deploy with a noteworthy nimbleness.” Founded in 1994, the quartet has become known for its virtuosic flair and its ability to create a seamless bland as an ensemble. For us its program will include Claude Debussy’s Quartet in G minor, Op. 10; Bela Bartok’s Quartet No. 5; and Maurice Ravel’s Quartet in F Major.
