The magnificent trumpeter Jeremy Pelt has recorded numerous thematic albums inspired by the likes of Miles Davis, the sculptor Rodin, human intimacy, and conversations with historic jazz figures he published in a book.

But he says his new record Soundtrack, conceived in response to the pandemic, is more about his band “playing some songs and having some fun.” He’s bringing that fun to Tarrytown. Jeremy’s a peerless collaborator who plays with great economy and warmth.
