Jazz Vocalist Anne Correa
On Friday, July 10th Roscoe’s Room welcomes jazz vocalist Anne Correa. Although a native New Yorker, Anne moved to Los Angeles and became a member of the prestigious Melrose Theatre where she performed in plays and musical revues. Dan Sullivan of Variety called her voice “searing”. She also performed in cabaret and jazz clubs in and around Los Angeles including The Gardenia. After returning to New York City, Anne performed in a number of jazz clubs including Danny’s Skylight Room, B. Smith’s, Lola’s, The Village Gate, Jan Wallman’s, The Garage, Chez Suzette, The Red Blazer Too and The Bubble Lounge. $10 cover.
