Jacob Slichter Lecture: “Bridges: Connections between Song Writing and Prose”

Jacob Slichter: BA, Harvard College. Slichter is the author of So You Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star: How I Machine-Gunned a Roomful of Record Executives and Other True Tales from a Drummer’s Life (Broadway Books, 2004); contributor to The New York Times; commentator for National Public Radio’s “Morning Edition”; drummer for the Minneapolis-based band Semisonic. The lecture will take place in Slonim Living Room at Sarah Lawrence College.
