Inside the Music with Kwame Ryan

Music lovers will have an opportunity to meet the Philharmonic’s guest conductor Kwamé Ryan over dinner and  learn more about his April 6 program with the orchestra during Inside the Music on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at 6:30  pm. A friendly and informal dinner at the Rye Grill and Bar will be followed by a discussion of  the next day’s concert. Inside the Music is a new series aimed at providing an in-depth look at concert repertoire and each conductor’s approach to navigating the orchestra through these  classical greats.

Twenty years ago we first introduced soprano Michelle DeYoung as a young, little-known star in the making.  Two decades, three Grammy Awards, and millions of superlative accolades later, we’re delighted to bring her back as she teams up with conductor Kwamé Ryan, making his NY-area debut.
