Indian Classical Music Workshop and Concert

Concert: 5-8pm, $10 per person

This concert and workshop are dedicated to Sarod Maestro Padmabhushan Pandit Buddhadeb DasGupta (1933 – 2018) and organized by Satyaki Dutta.

Workshop (2-4pm, free) with renowned Tabla artist, Pandit Abhijit Banerjee and Pandit Anirban Das Gupta, son and disciple of Pandit Buddhadeb DasGupta. The workshop will focus on informal, interactive discussions on the foundation of North Indian Classical music.   Evening concert, 5-8pm, features Pandit Anirban DasGupta (Sarod), Pandit Abhijit Banerjee (Tabla), Suhail Yusuf Khan (Sarangi), Adrija Bhattacharya (vocals), Kushal Sahabir (Tabla), and Michael Harrist (Sarangi).
