RiverArts presents | Imprint of Light: A Dance, Music & Video Collaboration

RiverArts is proud to debut Imprint of Light, a dance, music & video collaboration that will be broadcast on Zoom. Choreographer/Dancer Maxine Sherman and Composer/Videographer Steven Brent collaborate in this new work weaving dance, music and layered imagery to create an innovative experience at the cutting edge of performance art and film.

Imprint of Light is a magical journey within the imagination, toward the illumination of the human spirit and its relationship to the 4 elements of the earth. Sometimes mesmerizing, hypnotic and funny we all curiously travel to unknown places in the vehicle of our own body. We might land on familiar shores, but a mischievous impulse gives us a 360 degree view of new light.

There will be a Zoom broadcast of the video on Saturday May 8th at 8pm followed by a live Q&A session with both artists directly afterwards. A recording of the broadcast and Q&A will be available to view for the two weeks following the broadcast. Tickets to both the live broadcast and recording can be purchased at www.riverarts.org.
