HVWC & Teatown Writing Nature Series: Alex Shoumatoff at TEATOWN

Author of eleven books and most recently The Wasting of Borneo: Dispatches of a Vanishing World, Alex Shoumatoff grew up in Mt. Kisco developing his lifelong love of nature exploring local forests with Davie Holderness. Six decades later, Shoumatoff and Holderness embarked on a three-week odyssey through the vanishing world of Borneo, previously one of the richest most biodiverse places on earth before the palm oil industry cleared ninety percent of the lowland forest to make way for palm plantations.
