Ellen June Wright is an American poet with British and Caribbean roots. Her work has been published in national and international online and print journals including the Naugatuck River Review, New York Quarterly, Plume, Atlanta Review, Solstice, Tar River Poetry, Paterson Literary Review, Gordon Square Review, The South Carolina Review, Obsidian, Caribbean Writer and Tulsa Review. Much of her daily writing practice examines American history through the lens of the African American experience. She also writes about mother-daughter relationships, violence against the Black body, coming of age, nature and faith. She is a Cave Canem and Hurston/Wright alumna. Jill Michelle’s latest poems appear/are forthcoming in Brink, New Ohio Review, The Orchards Poetry Journal, SWWIM and Valley Voices. Her poem, “On Our Way Home,” won the 2023 NORward Prize for Poetry. She teaches at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Find more of her work at byjillmichelle.com.

Donna Vorreyer is the author of To Everything There Is (2020), Every Love Story is an Apocalypse Story (2016) and A House of Many Windows (2013), all from Sundress Publications. She creates and writes in the Chicago area, and her art and photography are featured or forthcoming in North American Review, Waxwing, Pithead Chapel, Thimble Literary Magazine and other journals. She lives in the Chicago suburbs where she hosts the monthly online reading series A Hundred Pitchers of Honey.

Alice G. Waldert is a German-Canadian poet, short story writer, and visual artist. Her latest poetry has appeared in national and international online and print journals including the anthology “Addiction,” Mistake House, Arc Poetry, Muleskinner, Misfit Magazine, Prometheus Dreaming, Survivor Lit and others. She has poems forthcoming in the Evening Street Review and a short story in the anthology There’s No Place. She lived in Westchester New York for sixteen years before the pandemic and now lives in Ottawa, Canada, where she works on her poetry, short stories, and takes art classes.
