Under the direction of Maestro Eu Sirotkine, the Hudson Valley Singers proudly announce Joseph Haydn’s finest piece, The Creation. An oratorio that tells the story of how someone you may know, over seven very famous days, created some very good things. And, the story begins amidst Chaos.
Haydn wrote his masterpiece, considered among the foundations of Western music, at the end of his career. The Creation is today considered a statement of warm optimism about our world and our place in it, clothed in some of the most gorgeous music of music’s golden age.
