Hudson Valley Music Club October Mostly Morning Concert

On Tuesday, October 8, at 11:00 AM, the Hudson Valley Music Club will open its 95th season with the first of its Mostly Morning Music series. Andrea Elkrief, flute accompanied by Judith Soffer, piano, will perform Oriental Prayer: Kol Nidre with Variations (1916) by David Ehrlich (1848-1926). Kate Ashby, violin; Seth Jacobs, cello; and Alan Murray, piano will perform a piano trio by Anton Arensky (1861-1908). Ms. Soffer will perform four Preludes by Alexander Scriabin (1871-1915):, Op. 11, #5 and #10; Op. 16, #5; and Op. 17, #3. She will also perform Fairy Tales, Op.26, #3, by Nikolai Medtner (1880-1951).
