Hudson Valley Music Club May Professional Concert

On Monday, May 22 at 1:00 PM, the Hudson Valley Music Club will present its May Professional concert, featuring Ana Vidovic, guitarist. Ms. Vidovic, a native of Zagreb, Croatia, is an award-winning artist who has performed across the world as a soloist with orchestras and chamber ensembles, as well as numerous solo recital performances. Ms. Vidovic has won an impressive number of prizes and international competitions including first prizes in the Albert Augustine International Competition in Bath, England, the Fernando Sor competition in Rome, Italy and the Francisco Tarrega competition in Benicasim, Spain. Other top prizes include the Eurovision Competition for Young Artists, Mauro Giuliani competition in Italy, Printemps de la Guitare in Belgium and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York.

Ms Vidovic will perform Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1 in G major (transcribed for guitar), Giuliani’s Grande Ouverture, Op. 61, sonatas by D. Scarlatti, and works by Torroba and Albeniz.
