Hudson River Chronicle: Water Poems with Rejin Leyes
Join artist Rejin Leyes in an interactive paper-making activity for an intergenerational audience in HRM’s outdoor courtyard, in view of the Hudson River, using shredded poems it has inspired, as well as its water. A perfect way to celebrate Earth Day and National Poetry Month!
Rejin Leyes is a Haitian-American mixed-media artist and paper-maker based in NYC whose “East River Chronicle,” a piece made out of cast paper pulp using water from the East River and shredded poetry, is in HRM’s forthcoming exhibition Rivers Flow / Artists Connect.
Support provided by Art Bridges.
