HOW TO BUILD A TIME MACHINE (Movie)

On Thursday, September 7th at 7:30pm, The Jacob Burns Film Center will present a special screening of How To Build A Time Machine, an award-winning documentary. Tickets are available at https://burnsfilmcenter.org/bo…/how-to-build-a-time-machine/

OAC Member, Ossining township resident and stop-motion animator Rob Niosi (Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, and Peter Gabriel music videos) is driven by his dream of recreating a live-scale model of the title prop from the 1960 film The Time Machine, based on the novel by H. G. Wells. Why? Haunted by an early childhood event, physicist and professor Ron Mallett explores the possibilities of turning back the clock. What happened? Jay Cheel’s poignant documentary goes beyond the concept of time travel to ponder ideas of love, loss, and what keeps us moving towards the future while enveloped by the past.

Rob Niosi and Ron Mallet will be leading a Q&A after the film.
