Hoff-Barthelson Faculty Performs an All-Beethoven Concert


The Hoff-Barthelson Music School 2019-2020 Faculty Concert Series concludes on Friday, April 17, 2020, at 7:30 pm, at the School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale, with an All-Beethoven concert. The year 2020 marks the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827); join faculty members violinists April Johnson and Gary Kosloski; violist Naomi Graf; cellist Michael Finckel; and pianists Katsura Tanikawa and Tomoko Uchino for a musical tribute to one of the most influential musicians and composers in Western history.

Works to be performed include the theatrical “Ghost Trio, Op. 70, No. 1” the marvelous “Duet for Viola and Cello in E-flat Major ‘with Two Eyeglasses Obligato’ WoO 32”and the “Sonata for Violin and Piano Op. 12, No. 1 in D Major.”

Admission to the concert is $20, $15 for seniors (60+) and free of charge for students. Tickets can be ordered by calling 914-723-1169, or e-mailing hb@hbms.org. and are also available for purchase at the door. Program and performers subject to change.
