For centuries mehndi the art of henna painting on the body has been practiced in India, Africa, and the Middle East, where the henna plant is believed to bring love and good fortune, and to protect against evil. When you adorn yourself with mehndi you are the recipient of an ancient female art form. The henna we use is natural, made from finely sifted henna, lemon juice & essential oils.
Everyone will go home with his or her own henna tattoo. (A permission form for minors must be filled out by parent/guardian.)
Call 914-631-7734 or stop by the Reference Desk at Warner Library to sign up.
