Handel’s “Messiah” Summer Sing

Join Westchester Oratorio Society and artistic director, Benjamin Niemczyk on Tuesday evening, July 18 from 7 to 9:15 PM for a Summer Sing featuring a “sing through” of Handel’s “Messiah” in the air-conditioned and well-lit Garden Room at the Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road, Katonah, NY (a short walk from the Metro North Station).

In addition to being an opportunity to meet and sing great music with other area singers, learn more about WOS as a prelude to the group’s upcoming 20th Anniversary Season, which features a December 2 presentation of the “Messiah” with the acclaimed early music ensemble, Sonnambula.

In addition to being led by Mr. Niemczyk, the group will be accompanied by WOS’s assistant artistic director Mun-Tzung Wong, an accomplished professional accompanist and vocal coach, on the Library’s exceptional Steinway C grand piano.

Admission is $20. Please bring your score, however, scores (Bärenreiter) will also be available. Refreshments will be served. For more information about the Summer Sing email WestchesterOratorio@Gmail.com  or call 914763 8462. For more information about the group’s upcoming season visit www.Westchesteroratorio.org.
