This lecture/demo explores the vast potential of GOLDEN Paints, Gels, Mediums and Pastes, giving you a good understanding of each product and their different attributes. Acrylic paint can be used for a wide range of painting techniques, from traditional wet-into-wet and glazing, to printing, collage and much more. Learn to control drying time, discover how to extend your paint and create any desired texture and effect with Gels and Mediums. Demystify pigments and mix beautiful clean colors by experiencing the difference between mineral and modern pigments. We will discuss how this relates to color mixing and compare the slow drying OPEN to Heavy Body Acrylics; Fluid to High Flow an ink-like consistency acrylic paint. Learn how to make the right choices in grounds and colors for the best intended application and for archival quality. This is a great place for beginners and experienced artists alike to learn new techniques and be inspired by innovative applications.
