2-4 pm How to Promote Your Art: Word Artist Panel III: including artists Theilking and Brunett, Lance Johnson, Mati Bracha, and Basha Ruth Nelson.

4-6pm Writing the Walls II, a collaborative Word/Image project between HVCCA, work of the WORD exhibition artists, Metro area poets, and Mara Mills, as project director, which creates a bridge between word and image. The poetry and short plays hang beside their visual inspiration at the Museum. On December 3rd, the poets will be reading their work, 4-6, with a reception to follow.  The reading is a walking journey that takes participants through the exhibit, stopping to hear poets Merle Molofsky, Moira Theilking, Ruth Handel, Donna Barkman, Alicia Morgan, Liz Burke, Julie Nord, Les Von Losberg and Robert Miss read thir selected works in an hour program.

Writing the Walls, fueled by a grant by NYSCA, represents the 7th year of collaboration. The goals of the project have been to democratize creativity and encourage a vision of the right of personal expression, break the barriers between viewer and participant in the arts, develop a connection between the community and art-making and art-thinking and have fun.

Word closes December 17.
Threads: The Fabric of Our Lives opens February 4.
