Gesture of Community Exhibition

Brandy Antonio presents Gesture of Community,

an exhibition of large-scale gestural collage

portraits on canvas. This new body of work

explores how individuals embody and express

community through movement, posture, and

presence. Each silhouetted figure is formed from

colorful, textural mosaics of paper—prints,

photographs, and patterns including resources,

attractions, institutions, and cultural life of White

Plains. Together, they create portraits that are

both personal and collective, grounding the

viewer in a visual language of belonging.
