George Washington’s 288th Birthday

You are cordially invited to join the White Plains Historical Society in commemorating the 288th Anniversary of the birth of founding father George Washington on Sunday, February 23, 2020, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Jacob Purdy House National Historic Site, 60 Park Avenue, White Plains, NY 10603.  Following the flag raising by our Revolutionary honor guard, this year’s program features living historian Michael J. Grillo speaking on “A Celebration of the Life of George Washington.”   As usual, admission and cake are FREE!
