Gender, Water, and Human Rights

n recognition of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Marcia Brewster, former Senior Officer for Water Resources at the United Nations Division for Sustainable Development, describes the important role women play in the conservation and protection of water resources management at the global level. Framing access to water and sanitation as a human rights issue, she will also encourage each of us to take on a water stewardship role in our own communities.

Marcia Brewster brings a wealth of international experience and organizational expertise to the consulting services of Nautilus International, where she is Senior Consultant. “Maya Lin: A River Is a Drawing” is a groundbreaking exhibition that focuses on the environment and ecology of the Hudson River. A series of new works and ambitious site-specific installations invite visitors to interact. #HRMMayaLin #MayaLin
