ArtsWestchester’s Gallery Nite Out is back with a new Paint ‘n’ Sip series! from February through April, a teaching artist will lead guests through a painting project that they can take home with them. For February, try your hand at a romantic landscape, while March and April will be all about celebrating the change of seasons. Let this new kind of happy hour in downtown White Plains help you to release your inner artist!

Gallery Nite Out at ArtsWestchester’s historic landmark gallery is the perfect opportunity to keep your 2024 resolution for more friend outings, to have a no-pressure date night, or to network with fellow arts lovers. Guests will explore all forms of creative expression through interactive arts experiences – from music to dance and painting to fashion. Come for the art, stay for the fun! Complimentary light bites and soft drinks will be served.

  Connie Manna was born and raised in New York and earned her BFA from the School of Visual Arts. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked for such diverse clients as medical magazines, advertising agencies, book publishers, general interest magazines and computer software companies. Her work was included in Society of Illustrators 28th annual exhibition and catalog and she has been a contributing artist at Corbis.

  Yohanna M. Roa is a visual artist, curator, and art historian, who defines herself as an immigrant with a flexible culture to function in different contexts. As an artist, Yohanna has extensive experience teaching at different levels and fields related to art. She has worked with children, youth, and adults of different ages. Her experience includes hand-made fanzines of personal and community memories, dialogue and self-recognition textiles, community-based public mural projects, and introductory, basic and advanced workshops in art history, which have included visits to museums or tours of historic places.She has extensive experience as a teaching artist conducting workshops in neighborhoods and communities and also at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
