From Memory to Memoir- Non-fiction Class

This class explores a variety of approaches to the memoir.   Students will be given weekly writing assignments and in-class exercises meant to conjure up memories relevant to a larger writing project.   We will also discuss a variety of other possible sources of inspiration,  including oral history interviews, diaries, letters, and historical records.
