Foreign Policy Discussion Group: Impact of Media on U.S. Foreign Policy

Guest speakers: Lester M. Crystal and David Kellogg

Mr. Crystal was the executive producer of The Newshour with Jim Lehrer on PBS and was a former president of NBC News where he worked on documentaries with Henry Kissinger.

Mr. Kellogg directed all print and online publishing activities for the non-profit council on Foreign Relations, including the Foreign Affairs; ForeignAffairs.org, the magazine’s website and award-winning CPR.org.  He was responsible for reports and other expert publications from the organizations’s think tank.  He assumed the role as Publisher of Foreign Affairs in 1987 and in 2010 was named Chief Information Officer.
