Flash Fiction Workshop
This course is for writers of any level who are interested in the short-short story form. In this class, we’ll explore compression, limitation, repetition, rhythm, and other inspiring, idea-generating writing practices. We’ll immerse ourselves in the exciting and dynamic form of flash fiction. In this class, you will engage with the form through writing prompts and reading assignments. Together, we will discuss student work and the work of published authors in terms of language, tone, voice, dialog, structure, setting, and other craft issues especially useful to writers of flash fiction.
