Firey String Sistas!

Join us for an inspiring concert with Firey String Sistas! in celebration of Juneteenth. Three powerhouse women, Nioka Workman founder & cellist joined by Marlene Rice violinist & pianist, and vocalist Mala Waldron are the core of this band and together they infuse world music, global funk, ‘head bopping’ soul and Jazz to produce unique sounds for violin, cello, bass, piano and percussion. The band extends from three members to five, featuring stellar artists like bassist Belden Bullock and percussionist Luciana Padmore. FREE!
