Film Screening: “13th”

For Prisons Month, It’s On Us, Real Talk, Harambe, Common Ground, and Workers Justice present a screening of the movie “13th”, directed by Ava DuVernay.

This film takes “an in-depth look at the prison system in the United States and how it reveals the nation’s history of racial inequality.” The event will consist of the screening followed by a talk-back in the style of a Real Talk Dialogue.
