Pattern Making 1
In this beginner’s workshop, students will be exposed to pattern making terminology, including how to measure and create a basic skirt. Skirt manipulation techniques will be taught which includes pattern alteration and development by changing and closing darts. Skirt will be sewn in Muslin material and selected fabric.
Pattern making 2
In this workshop students will create a bodice utilizing draping and dart manipulation techniques. Students will sew a bodice using muslin material and perform 10 manipulated dart exercises in fabric.
Pattern Making 3
In this workshop the students will draft a basic set in sleeve and be taught a variety of different sleeves. The students will also create and sew creative sleeves in fabric.
Pattern Making 4
This workshop is designed to teach students how to draft pant patterns according to personal fit. Students will sew a pair a pants in muslin and fabric.
