Nightclub sensation Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones) murders her philandering husband, and Chicago’s slickest lawyer, Billy Flynn (Gere), is set to defend her. But when Roxie Hart (Zellweger) also winds up in prison for murder, Billy takes on her case as well, turning the two murderesses against each other in a fight for the fame that will keep them from the gallows in 1920’s Chicago!
