Exhibition Opening: Percy Grainger’s Free Music

We are delighted to invite you to the grand opening of an extraordinary new exhibit, “Tone Rhythm Pitch: Exploring Percy Grainger’s Free Music,” at the Percy Grainger Home & Studio in White Plains, New York. This event will take place on Thursday, September 14, from 5 to 7 pm, at 7 Cromwell Place, White Plains, NY.

Drawing inspiration from the sounds of nature, Grainger’s lifetime passion was Free Music. Through a carefully curated collection of original photos, artifacts, and displays, we aim to transport you into the mind of this musical genius as he explored his vision of music for the future.

Special guests for the evening include Dr. Paul Jackson, Percy Grainger Society President, who will be visiting White Plains for the week, and the West Point Academy Clarinet Quartet, paying homage to Grainger with a performance at 6:30 pm.
