Are you the person at every family event who takes all the photos? This course will cover the basics of photographing an event, including contracts, talking to clients, and which cameras, lenses, and
flashes to use. Award-winning wedding photographer, Laurie Rhodes will discuss how she captures candid moments, builds intimacy with her
subjects, and works with her clients before, during and after the shoot. Rhodes will help students learn what to look for and how to craft the photographs that describe the meaningful moments that are so important in our life events.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Laurie Rhodes is a fomer television executive and award-winning New York City based photographer specializing in documentary weddings, life-style portraiture, street photography and fine art photography. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, People Magazine, and more.
