Dynamic Achiever Awards Gala
On November 14, 2015, OCA Westchester & Hudson Valley Chapter will honor outstanding Asian Americans at its annual Dynamic Achiever Awards Gala. OCA is the preeminent national advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of over 16 million Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in the United States. OCA-WHV is one of the oldest and most active of the OCA’s 100 chapters and affiliates nationwide.
For extraordinary contributions to their professions and communities, this year’s Dynamic Achiever Award (DAA) winners are: Baayork Lee, NAAP Executive Artistic Director, choreographer, theater director, and author; Howard Chen, Ph. D., electrical engineer, computer scientist, Past President, Chinese Institute of Engineers; and the New York Life, Greater New York General Office. The winners of two new student awards named after two distinguished OCA-WHV late past presidents, Jeannette Wang and Xiaochun Luo, and the winners of the 2015 Student Leadership Award will also be recognized at the Dynamic Achiever Awards Gala.
