Downtown Music Presents: The Westchester Philharmonic Brass Quintet, with Wayne du Maine

The much-adored Westchester Philharmonic Brass Quintet will perform its signature blend of classics, jazz, and pops, led by Phil trumpeter Wayne du Maine.  The ensemble also features Lowell Hershey, trumpet; Will deVos, horn; Michael Seltzer, trombone; and Marcus Rojas, tuba.

Wayne J. du Maine, Principal Trumpet with Westchester Philharmonic, currently performs with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra, New York City Opera, Rodney Mack Philadelphia Big Brass, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and with contemporary music ensembles such as Speculum Musicae, Sospeso, and ST-X Xenakis. Mr. du Maine has worked with a broad spectrum of artists ranging from Leonard Bernstein and Leonard Slatkin to Hank Jones, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Patti Lupone and Audra MacDonald. He has been a soloist with the orchestras of St. Louis, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, and may be heard on recordings with the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
