Downtown Music Presents: Maximillian Jansen, tenor & Bethany Pietroniro, piano


Tenor Maximillian Jansen and pianist Bethany Pietroniro return to Downtown Music for an afternoon of Schubert, Boulanger, Finzi, and more.

Tenor Maximillian Jansen was a 2023 Opera Saratoga Festival Artist where he performed the role of Monty in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. In 2022, he premiered a new work by David Ludwig at New York’s YIVO Institute for Jewish research. Recent performances include the role of the Fourth Jew in Strauss’s Salome, Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, and the titular role in Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring. He has appeared as a soloist with the Albany Symphony, the Lancaster Philharmonic, and the Victoria Civic Orchestra.
