Downtown Music Presents: Jordan Smith and Irena Portenko

Saxophonist Jordan Smith joins with pianist Irena Portenko for “Meditations” a captivating program of works in an introspective style.  Jordan Smith has been heard in concert at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  He has toured Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Greece as both soloist and conductor. Irena Portenko has been praised by The New York Times for her “admirably honest and clear-textured” playing and described as a pianist from a “select circle.”
