A.W. Duo- pianist Alyona Aksyonova and cellist James Waldo return to Downtown Music with a program which features the music of French composers including the Sonata for Cello and Piano of Francis Poulenc, and works by Gabriel Faure. Ellyn Moryl, founder of the Piccolo Spoleto festival in Charleston, uses three words to describe a concert by these gifted musicians: “Exciting, Ravishing, Sublime”.
